April is a Financial Coach in the FWC who works with current and former students to discuss making a plan to pay for school, budgeting, student loans, and managing debt. April habla español.
Joanie is a Financial Coach in the FWC who works with students to discuss financial graduation plans, personal budgeting, and managing debt. She moved to Portland in 2016 from Michigan when she was accepted into the AmeriCorps VISTA Program. After her one year of AmeriCorps Catholic Charities of Oregon, she decided she liked Portland so much that she made it her new home. In her free time, Joanie likes to play tennis and ukulele. She also enjoys hiking and birdwatching.
Kareem is a Certified Personal Financial Manager and Financial Coach in the FWC. He’s served for over ten years in student finance and is committed to helping students and promoting financial wellness through effective, proactive financial management.
Emilia is a Financial Coach in the FWC with background experience in financial aid. In her spare time, Emilia takes postgraduate courses at Portland State University. Her goal for all students is to help them explore their available financial pathways and empower them to make healthy financial decisions.
Karen is a Financial Coach and member of the Third Party Billing team helping international students with payments from their sponsored entities. She is also a Certified Personal Financial Manager.
